The New Lenox Safe Communities America Coalition formed in 2009 to help prevent injuries and death in the community continued its mission Thursday, Sept. 7 with its annual “A Pathway to Hope and Healing” event.

In conjunction with World Suicide Prevention Day, members of the community gathered at the New Lenox Village Hall to meet with and learn about local organizations who support and provide resources for people struggling with mental health issues and suicide.
