Nileta J. Fritz-Roberts
Nileta J. Fritz-Roberts “Bitsy” (nee Kreimeier), 84, New Lenox, died peacefully at home May 21, 2019 surrounded by her loving family. Bitsy is survived by five children, Kathy (Wally) Gillogly, David (LouAnn) Fritz, Steve (Barbara) Fritz, Debi (Robert) Farley and Dale (Karen) Fritz and four step-children, Noreen (Joe) Kelso, Sandra Kolk, Tammy (Bill) Hoessler and Denise (Greg) VanderVelde, 23 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and three soon-to-be great-grand-babies that she will watch over from heaven and her special friend Jack Mizicko. Bitsy is preceded in death by her beloved husband Thomas Roberts, her parents, 4 sisters, 1 brother, ex-husband Kenneth Fritz, 1 grandson and 1 great-grandson. She was a longtime member of the banking community, working at New Lenox State Bank and Hickory Creek Bank.
Charlie G. Cooper
Charlie G. Cooper, 15, New Lenox, died suddenly on Wednesday, May 22, 2019. He was the beloved son of Charles Cooper and Bobbi Zuidema; cherished grandson of George Zuidema; treasured nephew of Kelly (Frank) Suppes, Bill (Sheila) Cooper, Susan (Brian) West, Carolyn (Steve) Kamp, Brenda (Rick) Ostapovich, Kristen (Sean) Byrt, Darcy Drew and Dan Drew; also survived by numerous loving cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother Dianna Zuidema (Schaufele) and paternal grandparents Glen and Elaine Cooper (Cosek). Charlie was a freshman honor roll student at Lincoln-Way Central High School. He graduated 8th grade from Alex J. Martino Junior High School with high honors and was granted the Presidents Award. Charlie enjoyed playing basketball and spending time with his friends and family. He loved being in the company of other people and animals, especially his dogs Jack, Palmer and the late Scout.
Karen Jean Miller
Karen J. Miller (nee Eastwood) 66, a resident of New Lenox, died Sunday, May 25, 2019. Karen is survived by her devoted husband of 46 years William F. Miller; and her loving children Jennifer (Scott) Airato and Christopher (Hollie) Miller; cherished grandmother of Isabella, Emerson and Quentin Airato and Henry and Harper Miller; dear sister of Linda (Ronald) Bender, David (Carol) Eastwood, Bill (Debbie) Eastwood, Steve (Judy) Eastwood, and Lori (Cory) Glasen. She was preceded in death by her parents William and Shirley Eastwood of Calumet Park, brother John Eastwood, and sister-in-law and brother-in-law Sharon and Tom Fredette. She was truly loved by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, extended family and friends.
