Lincoln-Way Central knows Andrew runs its offense through University of Iona-commit Brett Hofer, and Knights head coach Jacob Bernard found out a way to counter that.

Bernard tinkered with his defense and placed his best swimmer, Dylan Sterling, on the Bolts’ standout in a May 3 game, which led to a Knights win. The first-year coach implemented the same game plan when the two teams met again Thursday, May 11, during the sectional quarterfinals in New Lenox.
