Runners emerge passed the first of four stations where they were going to be covered in colored powder as part of the D122 PTO’s Color Run 5K fundraiser on Saturday, May 19, hosted in New Lenox.
Jake Draper was the first to cross the finish line. Draper, a who is on the Lincoln-Way Central track team competed two days earlier against the area’s best runners in the Homewood-Flossmoor Sectional on Thursday, May 17.

The true blue members of the New Lenox School District 122 PTO rolled out the red carpet so runners could have the green light to participate in a colorful community event that served as a fundraiser for local students.
