It seems like holiday shopping begins earlier and earlier every year, but it doesn’t always go to benefit a good cause.

On Nov. 27, the New Lenox Parent Teacher Organization held a craft and vendor fair at Martino Junior High School to test the waters and see how it would go over with area shoppers, and event organizer and PTO member Cara Weingartner said she could not have been more pleased with the number of vendors that signed up.
