Playing sports in college was always a goal for Kyle Seymour, but the recent graduate of Lincoln-Way West originally planned to play baseball at the next level.

“My junior year, I decided to start focusing more on soccer instead,” Seymour said. “Everything was going well with the high school team and in club soccer, so I decided to really go after it in one sport and I decided soccer was the way to go.”

The choice paid off as Seymour will begin his collegiate soccer career this fall at Aurora University, a NCAA Division III program.
