A rowdy cast of pirates, Keystone Cops and young maidens is about to set sail as Village of Orland Park Theatre Troupe presents its spring production of Gilbert and Sullivan’s comic opera, “Pirates of Penzance.”

The 36-member cast brings the 19th century maritime tale to life Friday, April 27 and Saturday April 28 at 7 p.m., and Sunday, April 29 at 2 p.m. at Carl Sandburg High School’s Performing Arts Center, 13300 S. LaGrange Road in Orland Park.
