The Friends of the New Lenox Public Library quadrupled-down on good deeds with its annual Community Rummage Sale. Not only did the event on Saturday, Sept. 8, serve as a fundraiser for the library and the great programs it offers to the community, but it also gave folks an opportunity to upcycle old items rather than adding them to a landfill. On top of all that, shoppers were able to find unbelievable bargains on everything from gently used clothing to toys to electronics and participants were able to donate any unsold items to MorningStar Mission at the end of the sale.
