Variety is the spice of life and the Village of New Lenox offered residents a flavorful and fun night in the Village Commons with its annual Bands & Brews event.

The free Saturday, Aug. 4 bash featured live music from Fifty-One Lincoln Band, The Plastic Rebellion and Crawford’s Daughter. Lakeshore Beverage – a Budweiser distributor – provided the beer and wine, including such varieties as Goose Island Beer Co., Founders Brewing Company, Burnt City Brewing and more.
