In a sitting area inside Clarendale of Mokena, five residents were transported back to their youth through the power of music on Thursday, Nov. 14.
It was on this date that 10 students from Lincoln-Way Central High School who participated with Alive Inside — a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping communities connect, intergenerationally, musically and empathetically, according to its website — returned with special music players loaded with songs from the seniors’ youth.
