From Orland: Youth creativity soars during library’s first paper plane contest

On Dec. 26, children tried their paper airplane-making skills at the Orland Park Public Library as part of the first Paper Plane Championship Challenge. 

Children’s librarian Alex Pappas came up with the idea and said the rules of the competition were simple.

“I encourage you to make a lot,” Pappas said to the 10 children who assembled for the competition.
