If Lincoln-Way Central is going to get headed in the right direction, a major key may be how the Knights handle when things go in the wrong direction.

Central coach Mitch Nowicki wants his team to deal with adversity better and stop compounding its mistakes.

“We have to grow up in a hurry,” Nowicki said. “When something bad happens, we have a hard time playing through it and we end up having these implosions.”

An example came in the April 2 game against rival Lincoln-Way East.
