Providence rising junior shortstop Ryan O’Neil sees the benefits of playing summer baseball with his high school team. 

“It’s the program bond,” O’Neil said. “You get to know your teammates and get to play with everyone.”

O’Neil and the Celtics certainly feel they got something out of their summer practices and games, even though their summer playoff run ended early.
