The Lincoln-Way West boys water polo team was held scoreless in the fourth quarter of its season opener at Bradley-Bourbonnais and ended up dropping the match to the Boilermakers 12-10 on March 11 at Bradley.  

West had a 10-9 lead entering the fourth quarter, and despite a two very close non-goal calls, the Warriors were unable to respond. The winning goal was scored on a no-look backhand goal.
