Lincoln-Way Central senior defensive back Kyle Zabinski had not played offense for the Knights before the Friday, Oct. 11 game at Andrew.

With Central shorthanded due to injuries, coach Jeremy Cordell called on Zabinski to play both ways, inserting him at wide receiver.

Zabinski immediately emerged as a major threat for quarterback Turner Doran, hauling in seven catches for 115 yards and a touchdown as the Knights came up short in a 33-21 SouthWest Suburban Red road loss.
