For Lincoln-Way West, it was all or nothing at the Lincoln-Way Central Sectional on Saturday, Nov. 16.

The Warriors did not have any non-winners qualify for state, but they won three events to edge the host Knights for second place with 235 points to Central’s 234. Lincoln-Way East easily won the team title with 315.

It’s the sixth sectional title in seven years for East, which had a five-year winning streak snapped last season by Central.

Freshman Bella Cichon was the big star for West, taking home wins in the 100-yard breaststroke and 200 individual medley.
