A three-goal first half and strong defensive play were the difference for the Lincoln-Way Central girls soccer team as it beat sister school Lincoln-Way East 3-1 on Friday, May 17, to win the Class 3A regional championship at home in New Lenox.

Central sophomore Megan Hutchinson had a huge game, scoring two goals — the second and third of the game.
