Lincoln-Way Central knows what it is like to make it to state. The Knights qualified for state as a team the past two seasons and placed third in Class 2A last year. But the 2016 state champion, Grace Curran, and the state runner-up the past two seasons, Bri Bolden, both graduated. Curran is now playing at Minnesota and Bolden at Missouri.
